Stitching

Permute can merge multiple files into one - merge them. In case of audio and video, this means putting one track after another, in case of images, this means creating a PDF with each image being one page.

To stitch files together, add them to Permute, select a preset and in the per-group options enable the option to stitch together. See the Advanced Usage section of this help for more information.

⚠️ Notes:

• The stitching option will not be displayed if you set the preset’s quality to Copy. You should not use this option in the first place. Please see the Advanced Usage section of this help for more information. If all videos are of the same size and format, Permute will copy them on its own.
• If you add videos of different sizes, they will be proportionally downscaled to the smallest resolution within the files and padded with black background if needed.
