Permute's Workshop

Permute’s Workshop is a great way for Permute to offer less frequently used tools. Permute’s intention is to be a Swiss army knife of conversions, allowing you to get anything done. Permute’s Workshop allows Permute to be extended beyond simple conversions. By default, the workshop modules are not enabled by default, but one can easily enable them up in preferences.

To access the Workshop, use the “Permute’s Workshop” button in the bottom-left corner of the main window, or select Window > Show Permute's Workshop in the menu bar. The Workshop window will contain a list of enabled modules and will allow you to interact with them. Follow on-screen instructions on individual modules to work with them.

Starting with Permute 3.6, some Workshop modules can handle certain file types automatically when they are dropped onto Permute’s window (or selected via the open dialog, etc.). Modules that handle uniquely defined files (such as the Cue Cutter with .cue files) will automatically handle these files without even having to be enabled in the preferences.
